There’s a lot of buzz going on about new attractions and updates at Disney Parks this week. D23 hosted a fan event this past weekend in Orlando and as expected, Disney shared some new projects and plans in the works. Here are some of the highlights that were shared:
A new show based on “Zootopia” is being created for the Tree of Life theater at Disney’s Animal Kingdom! There are plans to reimagine Dinoland U.S.A. into a new land inspired by a region sometimes referred to as “tropical Americas.” New experiences inspired by “Encanto” and Indiana Jones are being considered for the reimagined land! I can’t wait to see these new attractions!
Country Bear Jamboree at Walt Disney World is getting new songs and a new act reinterpreting favorite Disney songs in different genres of country music! This new experience will still have the fun and friendly tone fans enjoy with the same famous characters like the loveable Trixie, Big Al and others.
Test Track will be reimagined! Imagineers along with teams from Chevrolet are looking back to the original World of Motion for inspiration and bringing that spirit of optimism to the next iteration of the attraction!
The new nighttime spectacular at EPCOT called “Luminous The Symphony of Us” will debut on Dec. 5, 2023 at Walt Disney World featuring fireworks, fountains, lasers, lighting effects and music.
Disney Adventure is the name of Disney Cruise Line’s newest ship! It will be the first Disney ship to sail from Singapore and throughout Southeast Asia and feature the Disney service, storytelling and entertainment everyone knows and loves.
A first-of-its-kind experience will extend the story of Pirates of the Caribbean and is coming to Adventureland at Magic Kingdom Park in Florida. Imagineers are in the design process now, and more details are coming in the future.
A brand-new world-jumping vehicle is coming to the next attraction at Avengers Campus that will transport guests and heroes into the Multiverse. The ride vehicle will incorporate some of the mightiest aspects of the Marvel universe, such as elements of Tony Stark’s time-suits, Xandarian jump points, and Wakandan technology.
